The Creative Living Arts Parade scheduled for Sunday in Coburn Park, Skowhegan, has been canceled because of anticipated bad weather. The event has not been rescheduled.
The parade, sponsored by the Wesserunsett Arts Council, was to have about 50 participants in lavish costumes marching around the park, and include a performance by the Skowhegan Community Orchestra, among other events.
According to the National Weather Service, Sunday’s forecast includes showers and thunderstorms, with a 90 percent chance of precipitation in the Skowhegan area.
