Acheson receives bachelor’s degree
Jake Acheson of Gardiner recently graduated from the University of Southern Maine, receiving a bachelor’s degree in geosciences.
He is currently employed by The North Point in Portland.
Duguette receives dean’s honors
KINGSTON, R.I. — Kayla L. Duquette of North Monmouth has been named to the spring 2014 semester dean’s list at the University of Rhode Island.
Doele named to spring semester dean’s list
PAUL SMITHS, N.Y. — Two local students have been named to the spring 2014 semester dean’s list at Paul Smith’s College.
They are Ashlee Doele of Jefferson, Maine, majoring in hotel, resort and tourism management, and Sierra Doucette of Randolph, Maine, who is majoring in natural resources management and policy. Doucette was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.
