PITTSFIELD — Geri Vistein, a Maine conservation biologist with the national organization Project Coyote, will present a slide show and talk about coyotes and their presence in Maine at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, at Pittsfield Pubic Library, 110 Library St. During the program “Coyote: America’s Songdog,” Vistein will discuss the complex interrelationship of coyotes and humans, touching upon anthropology, archaeology, prehistoric and modern history, Native American life, poetry, human psychology, wildlife science and ecology.
