Traffic was reduced to one lane early Friday afternoon on the southbound side of Interstate 95 in Sidney as the result of a two-vehicle crash, according to the Maine Department of Public Safety.

The accident happened around 1 p.m. at mile 119, officials said.

One of the vehicles involved in the southbound lanes crash overturned and minor injuries were reported.

Southbound motorists seeking to avoid the tie-up were advised to take the Sidney exit.
