OAKLAND — Nate Bach and Marcus McCue each scored goals, but it wasn’t enough for the Messalonskee boys soccer team, who fell 4-2 to Bangor on Monday in a Kennebec Valley Atheltic Confernce Class A match.

Jonah Webb had seven saves for the Eagles (0-2).

Garth Berenyi, Elijah Tuell, Shea McCann and Sam Houston each had goals for the Rams (1-0).

CHOP POINT 2, TEMPLE ACADEMY 1: Sam Stevens scored two goals to lead Chop Point to a win over Temple Academy.

Cullen Cummings had 14 saves for Chop Point.

Patrick Blaisdel scored the lone goal for Temple (0-1). Garrett Smith had nine saves.
