SKOWHEGAN — Eryn Doiron scored four goals and Hope Thompson added a pair to lift the Mt. Blue girls soccer team past Skowhegan 8-2 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Tuesday afternoon.

Haley Caswel, Jocelyn Daggett and Lauren Guppy also scored for Mt. Blue (1-0-1).

Doiron also chipped in with two assists.

Caitlyn Cushman scored a goal and an assist to pace Skowhegan (0-2-0).

ERSKINE 3, BELFAST 0: Lauren Wood scored a goal and an assist to lead the Eagles in South China.

Jordan Jowlett and Mallory Chamberlain also scored for Erskine (2-0-0). Taylor Boucher added a pair of assists while Cass Ray had eight saves to earn the shutout.

Cori Shooter had eight saves for the Lions (0-2-0).

MCI 2, LEAVITT 1: Eliana Bergdoll had a goal and an assist to lead the Huskies to a KVAC B win over the Hornets in Pittsfield.

Paige Lord added a goal for MCI (2-0). Gabbi Pyles had 13 saves.

Nikki Daigle scored the lone goal for Leavitt (1-1).

FIELD HOCKEY

WINSLOW 2, MCI 0: Sam Washburn and Ciera Poulin each scored goals to lead the Black Raiders to a KVAC B win over the Huskies in Winslow.

Natalie Greene had two assists for Winslow (2-0). Delaney Wood had three saves.

Mikayla Carr had 11 saves for MCI.

MT.BLUE 5, MT. ARARAT 1: Abby Wallace scored three goals to lead the Cougars to a KVAC A win over Mt. Ararat in Farmington.

Victoria Newbill added two goals and an assist for Mt. Blue. Leat St. Laurent had two assists.

Alyssa Curit scored the lone goal for the Eagles.

MT. VIEW 2, GARDINER 2: Megan Mikel and Reanna Boulay each scored goals to help the Mustangs earn a tie with Gardiner.

The Tigers (1-0-1) led 2-1 before Boulay scored with 2 minutes, 14 seconds left in regulation to pull Mt. View (1-0-1) even.

Dinah Bilodeau stopped 15 shots for Mt. View. Olivia Philbrook had six saves for Gardiner.

ERSKINE 0, NOKOMIS 0, 2 OT: The Eagles and defending state champion Nokomis battled to a draw in Newport. Erskine junior back Traviana Higgins made a defensive save in the second half. Both teams are 0-1-1.

BELFAST 7, WATERVILLE 0: Kylie Nelson scored three goals and Alicia Gaiero added a pair to lead the Lion in Waterville.

Nelson and Gaiero each had assists as well.

Kelsey Mehuren and Tierra Stevens also scored for Belfast (2-0).

Waterville dropped to 0-2.
