WATERVILLE — Inland Hospital will hold its third annual Let’s Go! Family Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at Quarry Road Recreation Area, on Quarry Road off of North Street.
Activities will include trail walks, mountain bike rides, yoga for children and Zumba demonstrations, healthy snacks, a climbing wall, the L.L. Bean Bootmobile, music and dancing, toddler games, free resources, gifts and prizes and more. There will be informational booths provided by Inland Family Care Practices, Barrel’s Community Market, Hannaford, Kennebec Messalonskee Trails, Inland’s RehabWorks, Snow Pond Community Music School, WinterKids and other local organizations. A grand prize of a $500 L.L. Bean gift card will be awarded — all families who attend will be entered.
The Family Fun Day kicks off the hospital’s 2014-2015 Let’s Go! Family Fun Series that offers monthly events designed to encourage families with children to eat healthy and lead active lifestyles.
