Sen. Susan Collins voted against a constitutional amendment limiting enormous donations for politics.

Collins voted for super rich who can buy their own way better than most people can — against “liberty and justice for all,” from the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

Collins makes worse the gap between rich and poor, giving super rich an even more unequal chance to get what they want — against “…all men are created equal” from the Declaration of Independence.

The super rich can buy more ads, give more to politicians, lobbyists, PACs than can most voters. Money talks. “All men” are not created equal in wealth to get what they want. Money can buy lots of influence, power, votes and bribes. Collins voted for big money.

I fear huge money donors are controlling more of our government. That’s not what I call democracy.
