SOUTH CHINA — A penalty kick with two minutes remaining in double overtime from Ryan Rodrigue proved to be the difference as Erskine beat Oceanside 2-1 in a battle of previously unbeaten teams.

The Mariners took a 1-0 lead with 20 minutes remaining in the second half on a goal from Titus Kaewthong, but it proved to be a brief one. Less than 30 seconds later Zach Isbell drilled a shot from 20 yards out into the upper right corner of the net to set up the dramatic finish in double overtime.

Denver Cullivan made two saves for Erskine (5-0-1), while Coby Dorr stopped four shots for Oceanside (3-1-1).

MESSALONSKEE 5, BREWER 3: The Eagles outscored the Witches 3-1 in the second half to wrap up the win in Oakland.

Elijah Tuell scored a pair of goals for Messalonskee (3-3-0), while Devin Pickett, James Kouletsis and Dylan Labun all found the back of the net as well.

Isaac Small accounted for two Brewer (2-3-1) goals and Matt Pushard scored once.

WINSLOW 2, GARDINER 1: The Black Raiders jumped ahead 2-0 and managed to hold on for the win in Gardiner.

Spencer Mirands and Justin Bergher each scored off assists from Evan Clark for Winslow (5-1-0).

Josh Caldwell scored off an assist from Brad Hart with 16:13 remaining in the contest for the lone Gardiner (1-5-0) goal.

MAINE CENTRAL INSTITUTE 7, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 1: Jordan Valente led a balanced scoring attack for the Huskies with two goals as MCI rolled over the Phoenix in Pittsfield.

Devon Varney, Hunter Wintle, Desai Chu, Slade Emery and Ethan Duplissea allso scored goals for MCI (2-4-0).

Nick Guild made 14 saves on 33 shots for Spruce Mountain (0-6-0).

BANGOR 7, LAWRENCE 0: Nate Bach and Carson Atherly each scored two goals to lead the Rams to the KVAC A victory in Fairfield.

Eli Clein, Javon Myers and Damian Lambert also scored for Bangor (5-0-1).

Stanley Clarke had four saves while Cole Frechette had seven for Lawrence (1-4-1).

WINTHROP 1, TELSTAR 1: Winthrop goalie Matt Sekerak scored on a penalty kick in the first half before Avery Griffin scored the equalizer with an unassisted goal in the second half for Telstar.

Sekerak also had 11 saves for the Ramblers (0-5-1).

Kellen True had seven saves for the Rebels (0-5-1).

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 1, HALL-DALE 0: Felix Promm scored an unassisted goal from about 18 yards out with 8:24 left in regulation to lift the Falcons to the MVC win in Rumford.

Brian Allen had five saves for the Bulldogs (5-1-0) while Jacob Bauchesne had 11 for Mountain Valley (5-0-1).
