I have known Sen. Roger Katz, R-Augusta, as a good neighbor for 37 years. He is running for a second term in the state Senate, representing District 15 for Augusta, China, Oakland, Sidney and Vassalboro.
Katz was born and raised in Augusta, graduated from Cony High School, is married to Birdie and has two children. He is a family man. He is an ambitious man, dedicated, and hard-working, always for the betterment of his community. For example, he spent time and energy helping to bring natural gas to the area.
He is a man who works well across party lines, has integrity and sincerity, and is respected and trusted to do right by the people he serves. Katz deserves to be re-elected to the Maine Senate. He has my vote.
