LITCHFIELD — The Kennebec Land Trust will hold a property dedication for the Samuel Hutchinson Homestead at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Small-Burnham Conservation Area parking lot on the Pine Tree Road.
The Samuel Hutchinson Homestead Conservation Area encompasses 142 acres of fields, woods, wetlands, and streams that are now protected by a conservation easement. Contiguous with KLT’s Small-Burnham Conservation Area, this land will be available for sustainable farming and forestry and is part of a 392-acre permanently protected wildlife habitat corridor.
Rain date will be 5:30-6:30 p.m. Monday.
