I am not a member of any political party. I vote for candidates based on my belief that their core values are close to my own. That is why I will again be voting for Sen. Roger Katz, R-Augusta, for state senator.
I believe his integrity, compassion and commitment to hard work mark him as a leader and has earned him the respect of members of both parties, allowing more to be accomplished by working across party lines.
Affordable heating options are available for more Maine people because of Roger’s efforts to help bring natural gas to the area. Folks in rural areas have access to dental care and our personal electronic records are protected from government scrutiny because of legislation that he helped to sponsor. These are just a few accomplishments out of many. Voting for Katz will allow him to continue to work for the people of Maine.
