HAMPDEN — Mitchell Caron threw for three touchdowns and Reid Shostak ran for two to lead Cony past Hampden 40-13 in a Pine Tree Conference game Friday night.
Tayler Carrier rushed for a touchdown and also had a TD reception for the Rams (4-2). Taylor Heath and Anthony Brunelle also scored for Cony, which led 27-0 at the half.
LISBON 40, MARANACOOK 0: The Greyhounds jumped on the Black Bears early and never looked back en route to the Western D Campbell Conference victory at Ricky Gibson Field of Dreams in Readfield.
The Greyhounds improved to 5-0 while the Black Bears dropped to 1-4.
MADISON/CARRABEC 33, CAMDEN 25: Cody Soucier rushed for 166 yards and five touchdowns to help the Bulldogs rally from a 25-6 halftime deficit.
“We put ourselves in a pretty good hole at the beginning,” Madison/Carrabec coach Scott Franzose said. “But we came back and shut them out in the second half.”
Jordan Curtis rushed for 82 yards on 12 carries for the Bulldogs (3-3).
Camden Hills dropped to 0-6.
