A Rumford woman was charged with operating under the influence after the U.S. Border Patrol found her lying in a ditch near her car at Rangeley Plantation early Friday.
Lt. David Rackliffe, of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, said the accident was reported at 1:11 a.m. after Cerese Richardson, 28, was discovered.
He said NorthStar ambulance responders evaluated and released Richardson, who subsequently was arrested by Deputy Sandy Burke and taken to the Franklin County Jail.
