PALMYRA — A LifeFlight helicopter was dispatched Friday evening in response to a report of a traffic accident involving injuries on Warren Hill Road in Palmyra. A Somerset County Regional Communications Center dispatcher confirmed the accident.

The online police dispatch log notes that one or helicopters have been sent to the area of the nearby Hartland Elementary School to land.

Somerset County sheriff’s deputies, along with Sebasticook Valley Ambulance and Hartland and Canaan firefighting units, were sent to the scene.

The accident was reported at 6:42 p.m.
