Recently I received a negative and misleading mailer from Mark Andre, a politician running for state House District 110. In the mailer, Andre suggests Henry Beck, currently a state representative, is somehow behind a new policy passed by the Waterville City Council.
Henry Beck has not been on the City Council for years, that’s how misleading the mailer was. If that was not enough, Andre took the time to paint state Sen. Colleen Lachowicz in a negative light.
As a Waterville voter, I do not appreciate these tactics. The mailer only reinforced why I think we should support Henry Beck. He has passed specific, bipartisan legislation in the State House designed to help people in our area. On state issues like health care, employment security, and education, Henry Beck is the better choice. Andre’s mailers can go in the recycling bin.
