SALEM — Jake Young and Nat Crocker each scored goals to lead the Hall-Dale boys soccer team past Mt. Abram 2-0 in a Mountain Valley Conference game Tuesday afternoon.

Ryan Sinclair had an assist for Hall-Dale (11-1-0).

Tristen Dyer had eight saves for the Roadrunners (8-4-0).

RICHMOND 6, RANGELEY 0: Marcus Blake scored two goals to lead five different scorers as the Bobcats rolled to the Western D victory in Richmond.

Pedro Borgea scored a goal and an assist for Richmond (12-0-0) while Cam Emmons finished with two assists.

Nate Vintinner, Brendan Emmons and Caleb McArthur also scored for Richmond.

Rangeley dropped to 2-8-1.

GARDINER 3, LEAVITT 2: Dylan Haskell followed his own shot to score the winning goal with 29:09 remaining as Gardiner edged Leavitt in a see-saw KVAC match in Gardiner.

Josh Caldwell and Alex LaPointe also scored for the Tigers. Tyler Roux and Evan Clark notched the Hornets’ goals. Kenneth Moore had four saves for Gardiner (4-8). Ben Fullerton recorded seven saves for Leavitt (6-6).

ERSKINE 5, MEDOMAK 1: Sam Wilkinson and Luke Peabody each scored two goals to lead the Eagles to the KVAC B victory in Lincoln.

Ryan Roderigue also scored for Erskine (10-1-1). Patrick Madden had a goal for Medomak (6-5-1).

Peabody and Roderigue each had assists as well.

MARANACOOK 5, NOKOMIS 0: Kent Mohlar scored 3 goals to lead the Black Bears to a win over the Warriors.

Nate Delmar and Kody Solmitz added goals for Maranacook (11-0-0). Chris Beckwith had 2 assists.

Nick Bolliger had 31 saves for Nokomis (3-8-1).

FIELD HOCKEY

GARDINER 5, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 1: The Tigers scored three goals in a span of 3 minutes, 6 seconds in the second half to break open a close game en route to victory over Spruce Mountain at Thomas College.

Sarah Morgan and Lilly Chepke finished with two goals apiece for Gardiner (12-1-1), and Nickyia Lovely added one. Abby Dyer had an assist for the Tigers, and goalie Kaylin Mansir stopped nine shots.

Kaylee Leclerc scored for Spruce Mountain (10-4). Grace Ryan made 15 saves.

WINTHROP 1, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Annie Guerette scored on a rebound with 20 minutes left in the second half as the Ramblers blanked the Falcons in Winthrop.

Corinna Coulton made four saves to secure the win for Winthrop (7-4-3). Cassie Thibodeau had 17 saves for Mtn. Valley (4-8-2).

MARANACOOK 4, MORSE 0: Maranacook had five seniors involved in the scoring on senior day as it rolled over Morse in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game.

Ellie Longfellow scored two goals while Amber Ridlon and Christine Miller added one apiece. Elise Linton and junior Kianna Pushard chipped in with assists. Lindsy Hilton made two saves for the shutout. Maranacook finished 3-11.

Bryanna Ringrose made eight saves for Morse (1-13).

GIRLS SOCCER

LEAVITT 3, GARDINER 0: Abbie Gaudette scored two goals and Shannon O’Malley added another to lift the Hornets in Turner.

Livie Gilbert added an assist for the Hornets (4-7-2).

Lauren Boyington had eight saves for the Tigers (1-8-3).

ERSKINE 7, MEDOMAK VALLEY 0: Avery Bond led five different scorers with two goals and two assists as Erskine blanked Medomak Valley in South China.

Christian Belanger also scored a pair of goals for the Eagles (7-2-3), while Lauren Wood, Taylor Boucher and Abby Haskell chipped in with one goal apiece. Cass Ray made 11 saves to preserve the shutout. Chelsea Ridley made 15 stops in net for the Panthers (1-9-2).
