WAYNE — An event to celebrate the 239th birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at the Williams House, 14 Old Winthrop Road.

After a social gathering, there will be a short program which will include a birthday message reading and a cake cutting ceremony. All Marines, their spouses, veterans, relatives and friends are welcome.
