On Nov. 4, residents of Hallowell, Manchester and West Gardiner will vote for someone new to represent them in the Legislature. I’ll be voting for Charlotte Warren, a Democrat from Hallowell, and here’s why.

With complex issues from Ebola to the economy, I want a legislator who seeks out the best information and makes thoughtful decisions — and Charlotte will. With central Mainers working harder than ever for less, I want a representative who will support increasing the minimum wage — and I trust Charlotte to do so.

With divisive politics becoming the order of the day, I want a representative who will work across the aisle to find common ground and problem-solve — and Charlotte has.

As a teacher, a small businessperson, an advocate for economic security for women and families and a local official, Charlotte Warren has demonstrated that she has the values and skills we need in the Maine House.

Rep. Sharon Anglin Treat

D-Hallowell
