I am writing this letter in support of Rebecca Cornell du Houx, a Democrat from Augusta, for State Senate in District 15, which includes Augusta, Sidney, Oakland, China and Vassalboro.
As a veteran and independent voter, I find Cornell du Houx better positioned than her opponent to represent my views, particularly on veteran issues and affordable health care for all Mainers. I hope that other veterans and independent voters will examine the two candidates and join me in support of Cornell du Houx on Nov. 4.
