A couple of years ago, I sent a Tonka truck to my daughter’s 4-year-old son in New Hampshire. A few days later, a black bear was enjoying it; fortunately, my grandson was inside the house. Had he not been indoors, I doubt that bear would have shared nicely.

My daughter’s property has been visited by black bears multiple times, one even peered through the back door. The Maine bear population must continue to be controlled for the safety and peace of mind of our residents and their families, so these unsettling and potentially dangerous visits do not occur.
