Recently, I overheard some people saying they would not vote for Mike Michaud because of his sexuality. When I got home I thought about it.
Was this is the same Mike that they most likely voted for as a congressman time and time again? Who has worked to keep New Balance sneakers for our troops made right here in Maine. Who has fought for the middle class, veterans, for affordable health care and has worked on a bipartisan level to get the job done. Another mill is about to close and 600 people will be without jobs right before the holidays.
We can’t afford another four years of a governor who is unwilling to work with others (proof by his record number of vetoes), who is an embarrassment to our state and as we continue to be ranked among the worst states for attracting new businesses and our education system.
