I am writing to support Sen. Roger Katz, R-Augusta, for re-election to the Maine State Senate.
As president of the Capitol Area Recreation Association, I have called upon Roger to help with issues affecting our organization. His first question is always to ask how he can help. He has been a friend to CARA for many years.
His actions as state senator have proven he represents this district and the residents of this state. He is not afraid to ask the tough questions to get a clear understanding of the issue and work with both Republicans and Democrats to do what is right. This is evident with the work he did as chairman of the Government Oversight Committee to clean up the mess at the Maine Turnpike Authority.
Roger has been a strong leader during his tenure in the Legislature. Please join me in voting for Roger Nov. 4.
