A single-vehicle crash Wednesday evening on Plains Road in Readfield injured three young adults, including one who sustained life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The three occupants were taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston following an accident that was reported as a rollover shortly before 5 p.m., according to Chief Deputy Ryan Reardon of the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office.
Reardon said Wednesday evening that the families were being notified and officials with the Maine State Police were reconstructing the accident.
“The factors leading up to the accident are uncertain at this time,” Reardon said.
