The Gardiner Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in finding a 47-year-old South Gardiner man who hasn’t been seen or heard from since Sunday.

William K. Hoch, who is described as 6 feet tall and 145 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair, was last seen at a friend’s residence in Gardiner, according to Gardiner Police Chief James Toman. Hoch, who was driving a white 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible, typically is in touch with his family every day, Toman said.

The police chief said Hoch also doesn’t have the medication he takes daily.

“We’re concerned because this is very inconsistent with his established pattern of behavior,” Toman said.

People who have seen Hoch or have information about his whereabouts are asked to call the Gardiner Police Department at (207) 624-7076.
