ELLSWORTH — Police say two Maine teens stole $5,000 worth of medical marijuana and left it in a car at their high school parking lot.
Ellsworth Police Detective Dotty Small tells WNSX-FM that two boys ages 18 and 17 have been charged with theft and burglary.
Police found the marijuana in a car in the Ellsworth High School parking lot on Thursday.
A day later, a medical marijuana user reported his drugs had been taken. Small says jars found inside the car contained the missing medical marijuana.
