FARMINGTON — Kunsang Dolma will give a talk, Finding Home: A Journey from Tibet to Maine, at 11:45 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, in room CR123 in the Olsen Student Center at the University of Maine at Farmington.
Dolma is author of “A Hundred Thousand White Stones: An Ordinary Tibetan’s Extraordinary Journey.” Published in 2013, Dolma’s memoir relates her life of hardship as a girl in Tibet, a refugee nun in India and the challenge of life as an immigrant and new mother in the United States, according to a news release from the university.
This event is sponsored by the UMF Religion and Philosophy Club. There is no cost and all are welcome.
