AUGUSTA — Augusta Elks Lodge 964 announces scholarship opportunities offered through the Elks National Foundation, according to Scholarship Chairperson Lina Michaud.
The Foundation awards Most Valuable Student scholarships of up to $50,000 to 500 high school seniors who demonstrate scholarship, leadership and financial need. The deadline for the 2015 MVS Scholarship is Dec. 5.
The ENF also awards $4,000 Legacy Awards to 250 high school seniors who are the children or grandchildren of Elks in good standing. The deadline for the 2015 Legacy Scholarship is Jan. 30, 2015.
Scholarship applications are available at elks.org/enf/scholars.
