DAMARISCOTTA — Skidompha Library’s Genealogy Club will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today in the first floor Porter Meeting Hall. Presenters from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will give a talk about how to use FamilySearch.org, a free genealogical research site.
They will also provide information about the use of local Latter-day Saints family history centers. Attendees can bring a laptop or use one of the library’s. The library’s staff genealogist, Kathleen Maclachlan, will be available after the presentation to answer questions about the club and the library’s resources. There is no cost and all are welcome.
