AUGUSTA — The MaineGeneral Horizon Program and the Unitarian Universalist Community Church will host ceremony honoring the 26th anniversary of World AIDS Day Sunday, Nov. 30. The event will take place from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the UU Community Church, 69 Winthrop St. according to a press release from the church.

The event will feature music, poetry, a candle lighting and the ringing of the AIDS bell. Following the ceremony, there will be a reception in the church fellowship hall.
