GORHAM — Police are investigating a robbery at the Irving Lil Mart on Ossipee Trail late Monday night, in which the robber brandished a gun and a knife and was disguised with a fake beard.
The robber went into the store shortly after 9:30 p.m. Monday displayed the weapons and demanded cash, police said.
The clerk refused and tried to call police. The robber then tried to break into the cash register but was unsuccessful. He ran off toward Standish, police said.
No one was hurt.
The suspect was described as 5’4″ to 5’6″ medium build, light brown hair and light green eyes. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, beanie, jeans, white sneakers and a fake beard.
