GARDINER — Johnson Hall announced in a press release it will celebrate its 150th anniversary at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center, 280 Water St.

The free event will start with a birthday cake competition. Prizes will be awarded for best flavor, best looking, people’s choice, youth creation and most creative. The grand prize will be a season’s pass to Johnson Hall.
