A charge of domestic violence assault against a Waterville man was dismissed on Tuesday after he successfully completed the terms of a deferred disposition.

Hannibal O. Kane, 28, withdrew his plea and the case was dismissed by a judge in Kennebec County Superior Court. Kane was arrested on the charge in October 2013 by Waterville Police.
