FARMINGTON — Kennadi Grover scored 14 points to lead the University of Maine at Farmington women’s basketball team to a 60-56 victory Maine Maritime in a North Atlantic Conference game Tuesday night.

Bianca Stoutamyer made three 3-pointers and scored 11 points for UMF (1-4), which trailed 31-28 at the half.

Mary Badeen scored a game-high 18 points to lead Maine Maritime (1-3). Jillian Perron added 12 points for the Mariners

HUSSON 65, THOMAS 24: The Eagles led 40-9 at halftime and coasted to the North Atlantic Conference win in Waterville.

Samira Cruz led Husson (1-2 overall, 1-0 NAC) with 12 points, while Chandler Guerrette and Victoria McIntyre added 11 points apiece. Husson forced 35 turnovers.

Gardiner grad Katie McAllister (10 points) and Waterville grad Ashleigh Gagne (eight) were the top scorers for Thomas (0-5, 0-1).

UMA 88, UNITY 46: Jamie Plummer scored 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Moose to the win in Unity.

Kylie Kemp added 17 points and seven rebounds for UMA while Jessica St. Amand and Kori Coro were also in double figures with 14 points apiece.

Unity was led by Ashley Moeller with 17 points and six rebounds and Sierra Marchaco with nine points.

Men’s basketball

Bates 76, Colby 70: Mike Boorzanian scored 18 points and led a balanced Bobcats team to the win in Lewiston.

Four Bates starters scored at least 11 points, and the Bobcats led 37-28 at the half. Marcus Delpeche had 14 points and 11 rebounds for Bates (5-0).

Chris Hudnut led Colby (5-3) with 26 points and eight rebounds. Luke Westman scored 16 points for the Mules.

Husson 80, Thomas 69: The Eagles rallied in the second half to take the NAC win in Waterville.

Down 41-36 at the break, Husson outscored Thomas 44-28 in the second half for the win. Aaron Willis led Husson (3-1, 1-0 NAC) with 19 points. Trevon Butler had 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Eagles.

Levi Barnes scored a game-high 34 points to lead Thomas (1-6, 0-1).
