AUGUSTA — The Christmas trees at the Blaine House are being decorated to honor those who serve in the military.
First lady Ann LePage says this year’s theme for the two trees at the governor’s mansion is “Tribute to the Troops.” The Kennebec Garden Club decorated the trees.
Republican Gov. Paul LePage’s family is decorating a third tree for their private living area.
The trees were donated by the Granger Family Farm in China, Maine.
The first lady says it’s critical to remember “the sacrifices of those who have served and honor those who currently wear the uniform.”
