FAIRFIELD — Maine residents are required by law to register their dogs by Dec. 31 each year. If you have not already done so, stop by the Town Office to obtain a dog license. A current rabies certificate at the time of registration will be needed.

Fees are $11 for unaltered dogs and $6 for altered dogs.

There will be a late fee of $25 for each dog registered after Jan. 31, 2015.
