FARMINGTON — Fairbanks Union Church will host a community service — Compassion and Hope in the Christmas Season — at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, according to a news release from the church.

This service will provide music, song and prayer to support those experiencing loss or struggling with emotions during the holiday season, according to a news release from the church. A candle-lighting ceremony will be part of the service.
