BINGHAM — Dalayne’ Davis had 11 rebounds as Valley swept the weekend series from Vinalhaven with a 38-33 East/West Conference girls basketball victory Saturday morning.

Samantha West led a balanced Valley scoring attack with nine points. Hayden Mayhew added eight and Hallie Millier scored six, while Charlie Savoy stood out on defense.

Deja Doughty led Vinalhaven (0-4) with 15 points.

CARRABEC 48, WISCASSET 20: Mickayla Willette finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds as the Cobras registered their first win of the season by defeating the Wolverines in North Anson.

Emma Pluntke added 12 points for Carrabec (1-2). The Cobras led 29-10 at halftime.

Kayla Gordon was the top scorer for Wiscasset (1-2) with eight points.

RANGELEY 70, NORTH HAVEN 4: The Lakers led 28-0 after one quarter and cruised to the win in North Haven.

Seve Deery-DeRaps scored 19 points to lead Rangeley (0-3). Celia Philbrick, Natasha Haley and Maddison Egan each contributed eight points.

Jasmine Brown had all four points for North Haven (0-3).

HALL-DALE 76, MT. ABRAM 23: Dani Sweet scored 22 points to lead the Bulldogs to a Mountain Valley Conference win over the Roadrunners in Farmingdale.

Nicole Pelletier scored 11 points, while Molly French added 10 points for Hall-Dale (2-1).

Brooke-Lyn Millbury scored five points for Mt. Abram (0-2).

BOYS BASKETBALL

VALLEY 80, VINALHAVEN 45: Cody Laweryson scored 16 points and Dillon Beane scored 13 points to lead the Cavaliers over the Vikings in Bingham.

Collin Miller scored 12 points, while Brandon Thomas added 11 points for Valley (3-0).

Cody Hamilton led Vinalhaven (0-4) with 15 points.

RANGELEY 72, NORTH HAVEN 56: Timmy White scored 21 points to lead four Lakers in double figures as Rangeley held off the Hawks in North Haven.

Orrin Mitchell scored 15 points and Kyle Larochelle added 14 for Rangeley (2-1). Wyatt Dellavalle chipped in with 10 points. The Lakers outscored North Haven, 26-15, in the fourth quarter.

Aidan Emerson led North Haven (0-4) with 26 points. The Hawks also got 16 points from Avery Waterman.

HALL-DALE 68, MT. ABRAM 42: Bryson Camp scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC win in Salem.

Brian Allen added 15 points for Hall-Dale (3-1).

Quinton Hanna led Mt. Abram (1-2) with 14 points while Luke Romanoski scored 11 and Tristan Dyer 10.

WISCASSET 70, CARRABEC 45: Kevin Lynch’s 17 points paced the Wolverines to the win over the Cobras in North Anson.

Sean Chubbuck added 13 points and Darren Wood pitched in with 10 for Wiscasset (2-1).

William Crawford (13 points), Dustin Crawford (11) and Evan Holzworth (10) each scored in double figures for Carrabec (0-3).

BOYS ICE HOCKEY

SCARBOROUGH 3, LAWRENCE/SKOWHEGAN 1: Scarborough scored three power play goals to rally from a 1-0 deficit and defeat Lawrence/Skowhegan at Sukee Arena.

Trey Michonski’s short-handed goal put the Bandits up 1-0 with 9:17 left in the second period. Jack Callahan and Sean McDonald each answered with the man advantage in the second period, then Braeden Kane added the insurance goal on the power play late in the third.

Curtis Martin made 26 saves in net for Lawrence/Skowhegan (0-2). Ben Bragg stopped 14 shots for Scarborough (2-1).

WINSLOW 2, YARMOUTH 1: The Black Raiders survived a late flurry from the Clippers to pick up the win in Yarmouth.

Alex Berard and Dameron Rodrigue each scored unassisted goals for Winslow (2-1), while Andrew Beals finished with 28 saves.

GIRLS ICE HOCKEY

YARMOUTH/FREEPORT 9, WINSLOW 0: Sydney St. Pierre and Katie Clemmer each scored a pair of goals to lead Yarmouth/Freeport to a win over the Black Raiders.

Kianna Richards made 16 saves in the loss for Winslow (0-7).
