READFIELD — The Spirit of America Foundation Tribute is presented in the name of Maine municipalities to local individuals, organizations and projects for commendable community service.
The Select Board seeks nominees for the 2015 Spirit of America Award and the Unsung Hero Award, according to a news release from the town. Residents and groups are eligible. Nominations should include an explanation of why the nominee deserves the award.
Nominations must be received in writing at the Town Office, 8 Old Kents Hill Road, by Feb. 27, 2015. For more information, call 685-3420.
