PRESQUE ISLE — Brandon Nale scored two goals and had an assist to lead the Messalonskee boys hockey team to a 4-1 win over Presque Isle on Saturday.

Dylan Burton and Jake Dexter each added goals for the Eagles (3-1). Elija Tuel had 16 saves.

Daniel Boucher scored the lone goal for Presque Isle (1-2).

WINSLOW 5, ORONO/OLD TOWN 2: Jimmy Fowler scored two goals and dished out two assists as Winslow jumped out to a 3-1 first-period lead and never looked back at Sukee Arena.

Jacob Trask, Jacob Grenier and Jake Larsen all tallied a goal and an assist for the Black Raiders (3-2). Ben Allen and Chris Howe scored for Orono/Old Town. Andrew Beals made 22 saves in net for Winslow. Chase Albert stopped 24 shots for Orono/Old Town.

LEWISTON 6, LAWRENCE/SKOWHEGAN 5: Jean-Luk Dostie and Kyle Morin scored two goals apiece as Lewiston held off Lawrence/Skowhegan in Lewiston.

Jonathan Sturgis and Griffin Wade also scored a goal apiece for the Blue Devils (3-1). Andrew Carpenter had a hat trick for the Bandits (0-3-1) while Trey Michonski and Brady Martin each added a goal and an assist.


OXFORD HILLS 63, SKOWHEGAN 49: Isaac Witham scored 24 points, but the Indians fell to the Vikings in a KVAC A game in South Paris.

Garrett McSweeney added 10 points for Skowhegan (2-4).

Tyus Ripley scored 16 points for Oxford Hills (3-2).

MT. ABRAM 63, WISCASSET 48: Quinton Hanna scored 19 points and had 14 rebounds to lead the Roadrunners to a win over the Wolverines in Salem.

Tristan Dyer scored 12 points and had 10 rebounds for Mt. Abram (2-4), while Dan Luce added 11 points.

Brandon Sprague scored 15 points for Wiscasset (2-5).


LAWRENCE 47, EDWARD LITTLE 34: Nia Irving scored 10 points and had 14 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC A win over the Red Eddies in Fairfield.

Domique Lewis scored 16 points, while Paige Belanger scored 10 points for the Bulldogs (5-0).

Emily Jacques scored 11 points for Edward Little (4-2).

MT. BLUE 56, BREWER 22: Caitlin Kane scored 17 points to lead the Cougars to a KVAC B win over the Witches in Farmington.

Addie Brinkman added 12 points for Mt. Blue (3-1).

Courtney Pearson scored seven points for Brewer (0-5).

WISCASSET 30, MT. ABRAM 16: Olivia Ryan and Megan Sorel led the Roadrunners with four points in a losing effort against the Wolverines in Salem.

Sally Stevens, Alora Ross and Marya Beedy each had two points for Mt. Abram (0-5).

Alicia Falkingham scored 10 points for Wiscasset (3-4).


KENTS HILL 42, DEXTER SCHOOL (RI) 41: Kents Hill played shutdown defense in the second half, limiting Dexter to just 10 points to rally from an 11-point halftime deficit in Providence, RI.

Luke Arsenault led the Huskies (3-2) with 11 points, while Khalil Webb and Darius Hinds added eight points apiece. Jon Metzgar paced Dexter (4-2) with 17 points, while Dakorite Ojuka added 12 points.
