Wind damage

High wind overnight Thursday into Friday toppled trees in several communities and left about 100 homes without power in Franklin County and about the same number in Somerset County. Trees were reported down in Anson, South Solon, Smithfield, Pleasant Ridge Plantation, Jackman, Lexington Township, New Portland and Athens.

IN ANSON, Thursday at 7:29 a.m., a report of trespass was investigated on River Road.

3:11 p.m., a trespass complaint was investigated on Valley Road.

IN CORNVILLE, Thursday at 8:11 p.m., a disturbance was reported on Spurwink Lane.

IN EMBDEN, Thursday at 9:25 a.m., fire crews were sent to a call on Embden Pond Road.

IN FAIRFIELD, Thursday at 8:26 p.m., a report of suspicious activity was investigated on Center Road.

8:42 p.m., a report of a domestic disturbance was investigated on Brayley Avenue.

Friday at 12:43 a.m., a threatening complaint was taken from Main Street.

1:54 a.m., a robbery was reported on Main Street.

9:23 a.m., police were called to assist another agency on Green Road.

IN FRANKLIN COUNTY, Tuesday, Patrick Catherwood, 34, of Jay, was arrested on the charge of unpaid fines.

Jennifer Barrett, 31, of Chesterville, was arrested on the charge of theft.

Wednesday, Justin Stevens, 23, of Oakland, was arrested on a warrant.

Thursday, Daniel Groover, 40, of Farmington, was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines.

Marisela Gould, 51, of Jay, was arrested on the charge of domestic violence assault.

Friday, Jason Leiva, 36, of New York, N.Y., was arrested on the charge of operating after suspension.

IN OAKLAND, Thursday at 7:54 p.m., Michael Henry Savage, 29, of Oakland, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence and violating the conditions of his release.

IN WATERVILLE, Wednesday at 8:15 a.m., Dalla Cherry, 22, of Waterville, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, trespassing and violating conditions of release.

10:54 p.m. Thursday, Jesseca Fortin, 32, of Waterville, was arrested and charged with domestic violence assault and domestic violence criminal mischief.
