At 1:12 p.m., a motorist cited for running a red light claimed her brakes didn’t work. The police officer followed her through intersections, turns and a railroad crossing and noted no problem.

At 4:05 p.m., a report was received of dogs running at large on property on Rice Rips Road.

Saturday at 12:26 a.m., police investigated a man walking around wearing only a T-shirt in 45 degree weather.

7:20 a.m., marijuana seeds were discovered in a vehicle stopped for an expired inspection sticker, police said. The driver and passenger were arrested.

6:46 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported on Smithfield Road, where a truck had come to rest in a ditch.

Sunday at 4:30 p.m., threats were reported on Hubbard Street.

Monday at 5:59 a.m., a vehicle was found in a ditch at Rice Rips Road and Fairfield Street. According to police, the driver said her brakes failed and she drove into the ditch because she didn’t want to drive into an intersection. The driver reported she couldn’t afford to pay a tow truck to pull the vehicle out. It was towed to a tow yard.

IN RANGELEY, a snowmobile rescue sled was called to a trail accident.

IN ST. ALBANS, Sunday at 3:05 p.m., peace reportedly was restored following a report of a disturbance on Lakeside Drive.

In Oakland, Saturday at 7:20 a.m., Corey Leadbetter, 28, of Waterville, and Amber McGinnis, 22, of Detroit, were summonsed on a charge of possession of marijuana following a traffic stop

At 10:08 p.m. Erica Curtis, 32, of Benton, was summonsed on a charge of operating after suspension Dec. 27 in Oakland.

ARRESTS

IN SOMERSET COUNTY, Sunday at 11:33 p.m., Mylon P. Lake, 69, of Harmony, was arrested on a charge of assault.

Monday at 9:34 a.m., Kevin Matthew Estes, 60, of Skowhegan, was arrested on a warrant and on a probation hold.

In Waterville, Sunday at 8:13 a.m., Brandon Helms, 23, transient, was arrested on two warrants.

3:45 p.m., Ryan Gormley, 23, of Madison, was charged on Elmwood Avenue with operating after suspension.
