WALES — The Oak Hill girls basketball team earned one of its biggest victories of the season Monday, stopping previously undefeated Boothbay 50-44 in a Mountain Valley Conference game Monday night.

Sadie Goulet scored 14 points and Danielle Samson added 12 to pace the Raiders (7-1).

Samson also had six steals.

Kayla Veilleux had eight rebounds for the victors as well.

Boothbay dropped to 8-1.

MONMOUTH 33, ST. DOMINIC 22: The Mustangs held the Saints to just six points between the second and third quarters en route to an 11-point win in Auburn.

Sidney Wilson paced Monmouth (7-2) with 11 points. Faith Grady had a game-high 16 points for St. Dominic (1-6).
