Wednesday a 2009 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck being driven south on Mills Road by a 47-year-old Whitefield woman crossed the northbound lane, left the road and hit a tree. The driver told police she fell asleep.

Friday a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer being driven north on Heath Road by a 28-year-old Wiscasset woman skidded out of control and went across the road before hitting a utility pole.

ARRESTS

AUGUSTA

Saturday at 6:14 p.m., three people were arrested at the Kennebec County jail on State Street. Kevin M. Swift Jr., 23, of Whitefield, was charged with violating bail. Jovan Jared Calhoun, 31, of Lewiston, and Antesly May Bellows, 36, of Waterville, were each charged with failure to appear.

Sunday at 4:26 p.m., Bobby Lee Young, 26, of Augusta, was arrested on warrants on Civic Center Drive.

4:59 p.m., Krystal A. Lavallee, 36, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer by police responding to a shoplifting complaint on Cony Street.

10:27 p.m., Sophia Kim MacFarlane, 31, of Augusta, was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of a scheduled drug and sale and use of drug paraphernalia by police responding to a report of suspicious activity on Bridge Street.

GARDINER

Saturday at 12:09 p.m., Melissa Ann Pelham, 48, of Gardiner, was arrested on a warrant on Pleasant Street.
