NEW SHARON — The Jim Ditzler Memorial Library will host a seniors hour from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, Jan. 15, followed by a light lunch, according to a news release from the New Sharon Village Elders.

Librarian Diana Oliver will provide a tour and overview of library assets available for seniors. She would also like to hear suggestions from seniors on how the library might better serve their needs. She hopes a spring computer class will be held again this year.

The light lunch is sponsored by River Vision Press in Lewiston. Owner and Maine author Jim Baumer will be on hand. In 2014, Baumer provided assistance to the New Sharon Village Elders in launching their support efforts.

The library is at 37 Library Road, which is the first left off of Main Street about 1/4 mile out of New Sharon center. If there is a weather-related cancellation, the meeting will be rescheduled.
