Air Force Airman 1st Class Khaila J. Donovan recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Donovan is the daughter of James and Martha Donovan, of Litchfield, Maine, and granddaughter of Cynthia Black, of Litchfield, Maine.

She is a 2009 graduate of Oak Hill High School, Wales, Maine. She earned a bachelor’s degree in 2013 from Thomas College, Waterville, Maine.
