BOSTON — A man whose friends filmed him doing a 360-degree flip from platform to platform across Boston a subway track could face charges.
The MBTA says it will seek a trespassing charge against 23-year-old Dylan Polin.
The video recorded last month and posted online shows Polin taking a running leap and making a perfect landing on the opposite platform at the T’s Park Street Station.
A Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority spokesman called the stunt “incredibly foolish,” and “extremely dangerous,” pointing out that the leap was made over the electrified third rail, and had Polin slipped and made contact, he could have been killed.
Polin has discouraged copycats but says he trained hard for the stunt and is experienced in the urban obstacle course sport of parkour.
