AUGUSTA — Kate Braestrup, author of “Here If You Need Me” and chaplain to the Maine Guides’ Maine Search and Rescue, will be the guest minister at 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at Augusta UU Church, 69 Winthrop St. This will be followed by a 1 p.m. book discussion and a question-and-answer session, according to a news release from the church. She also is the author of “Beginner’s Grace: Bringing Prayer to Life” and “Marriage and Other Acts of Grace.” All of her books weave time-honored wisdom of prayer and spirituality throughout stories of her own life.
