KINGFIELD — High Peaks Artisans’ Guild will offer a free valentine-making workshop for all ages from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at 245 Main St. Those who attend are encouraged to bring old-fashioned paper doilies. Basic art supplies will be provided, though people can bring items from home to make it more personal and authentic. Workshop leaders are Kelly Sterns and Cindy Taylor Clark.

Sterns has been a writer, artist-in-residence for foundations, museums and schools from California to New York. Clark, a longtime Mainer known for her expertise in painting and collage, also is known for her quilts, according to a news release from the Guild.
