READFIELD — Kyle Wilbur scored 23 points and Kent Mohlar added 12 to lead the No. 8 Maranacook boys basketball team past No. 9 St. Dominic 51-38 in a Western C prelim game Wednesday night.

Levi Emery scored seven points to go along with 11 rebounds, eight blocks and five steals for the Black Bears (8-11).

Mike Bryant scored 20 points and Becket Wagner added 11 to pace the Saints (10-9).

NO. 9 NYA 58, NO. 8 RANGELEY 54: Jake Malcolm scored 18 points and Jacob Sturgess added seven to lead the Panthers to the preliminary round victory. Sean McMullan chipped in with eight points for NYA (8-11).

Timmy White scored 16 points and Orrin Michell had 13 points and seven rebounds to lead Rangeley (6-12).

NO. 5 RICHMOND 51, NO. 12 BUCKFIELD 40: Cody Tribbet scored 22 points and Zach Small added 12 points and as many rebounds to lead the Bobcats to the prelim victory in Richmond.

Bailey Johansen had 12 rebounds to go along with four points for Richmond (12-7).

Jacob Kraske scored 18 points to lead Buckfield (5-14).
